Who we are
The Navigating Opportunities and Viable Alternatives Network (NOVAN) is dedicated to addressing and preventing key challenges faced by individuals, families, and youth, particularly those from immigrant and Black communities, as well as the general public. These challenges include cultural and social adjustments, academic difficulties, and communication barriers.
NOVAN empowers its beneficiaries by providing essential tools and resources to help them adapt to new social, educational, and cultural environments. Through mentorship programs, skills development workshops, and support networks, NOVAN builds confidence and fosters leadership abilities.
In addition, the network offers job readiness programs designed to prepare individuals for workforce success. These include resume building, interview preparation, and networking strategies. By equipping individuals, families, and youth with the skills needed to overcome obstacles, NOVAN helps them build stronger, more resilient futures.
